Being truly present and in the moment has been one of the “hardest” practices to integrate for me. I was so good at thinking and anticipating ahead, planning that actually switching to noticing and standing firm in the here and now took repeat training. It seems so easy to say - just be present, but somehow it can be one of the most challenging lessons to actually live out especially in the day to day routine. 💙
Also the colors are reminding me of the late summer season, which is my favorite! When the days still warm up and feel like summer but at the same time you can feel the streams of cooler air, especially in the mornings and afternoon the sun sets. Did you know that according to traditional Chinese wisdom, they considered Late Summer as a separate season, that time between Summer and Fall had its own special place. And I know that this painting will go to a special place 🪄
